We are proud to announce that TOP Priority MA — The One People Priority Massachusetts — was officially incorporated on June 17, 2026. This marks the beginning of a new civic institution dedicated to building community capacity across the Commonwealth.
Our mission is clear: convert lived experience into community impact. We believe that democracy requires infrastructure, and infrastructure requires capacity. That's why we're building the foundational systems — health, safety, economic opportunity, civic literacy, and legal understanding — that make democratic participation not just a right, but a lived reality.
As a complement to the Empowering Descendant Communities (EDC) coalition's voting rights work, TOP Priority MA addresses the broader ecosystem of community needs. While EDC builds democratic participation infrastructure, we build the community capacity that makes participation meaningful.
